Inspired by my own photo of this awesome rock whilst sunning on a cloudless, sunny day in Sydney at Tamarama beach. The layers of sedimentary rock show the relative age of each layer. Layers that are further down are older than those closer to the surface. Sandstone is one of the most common sedimentary rocks on Earth. It is found anywhere there's sand and is in abundance around Sydney.
